Brodie and Hannah celebrated their big day at The Old Station, Raglan – the venue that we seem to get booked for most often!
After a beautiful ceremony under the giant roof of “Leoni’s Lookout” the couple went off for the photography sessions.
The guests were ushered into the main hangar for the entrance of the bride and groom soon enough… and Oh.. What an entrance!!
Weeks before the big day, Hannah and Brodie approached us asking if we could put together a “Chicago Bulls” style entrance. We got them to write the copy for each ember of the wedding party, Dave went to work on making the mix and we got a good buddy of ours from the USA to read the voice over.
The result was AMAZING! (and we’d be happy to do similar work for other wedding parties!) IT took a couple of days work getting the timing down, then the wedding party had to rehearse.. but it went off like a cracker on the day! Check the video from our perspective.
That Entrance...
To put something like this together we used two tracks – “Sirius by Alan Parsons Project” and “Get Ready for This by 2 Unlimited”
Dave then edits the Sirius track using looping to suit the pre-recorded voice over (that took some discord voice calls and messaging to organise) . Slices up “Get Ready for This” so that it drops at the right time… then mashes the three audio tracks together using a digital audio workstation program. (Easy when you know how hehe)
